How it works

1. Tell us how much credit each buyer gets. We invoice you for it.
2. As cars are delivered, send us the buyers’ phone numbers: a list or a spreadsheet.
3. We put the credit on each number. The buyer charges with it at any Hayl Charge charger.
4. Each month we send you a statement: what was spent, what is left and what has lapsed.

What it looks like on fifty cars

Say you give every buyer ETB 1,000 of charging. Fifty cars delivered in a month is ETB 50,000, invoiced once rather than fifty times. Each buyer finds the credit waiting when they sign in with the number on their delivery form, and spends it at any charger on Hayl Charge. At the end of the month your statement shows what was charged, what is still sitting there, and what lapsed unused.

Questions importers ask

Does a buyer need to sign up first?

No. Their phone number is enough. The credit waits on it, and they see it when they sign in to Hayl Charge with that number.

Where can buyers use the credit?

At any charger on Hayl Charge. It is used before any money of their own, so they charge free until it runs out.

What happens to credit a buyer does not use?

It lapses 3 months after it was added, so it is used while the car is new. Your statement shows how much lapsed.

How many buyers can we add at once?

Up to 200 phone numbers in a batch, and as many batches as you deliver cars.
