Charge your whole fleet on one account

For taxi, ride-hail and delivery fleets. Your drivers tap a card; you pay from one wallet.

How it starts

  1. Sign in to the Hayl Charge app with your phone number. That is your company account.
  2. Top up the company wallet with telebirr, CBE Birr or a bank card.
  3. We issue a card for each vehicle, labelled with its plate, with a monthly limit if you want one.
  4. Your drivers tap the card at the charger. Every charge shows in your app.

What it looks like on ten taxis

Ten taxis, one account. You top up the company wallet once; we issue ten cards, each labelled with its plate, each with a monthly limit if you want one. A driver taps and charges: no smartphone, no app, no account of their own. Every charge lands in your app against that plate, a card that reaches its limit stops until the next month, and a card that goes missing is switched off from the same screen.

Questions fleet owners ask

Do our drivers need a smartphone?
No. They tap the card. No app, no smartphone and no account.
What happens when a card reaches its limit?
It stops starting charges until the next month, even with money in the wallet, or until you raise the limit in the app.
Do we pay less than other drivers?
On the chargers of an operator who gives your company a fleet price, yes: your cards pay it there. On other chargers they pay the normal price.
Do the cards work when a charger is offline?
Yes, at an operator where the card has charged before: the charger keeps a list of those cards. A card’s first charge with an operator needs the charger online.
